The title gives the conclusion. Baarle-Nassau is a town in southern Netherlands in province of North Braband*. See the map please. Dark parts are Belgium. Here is the first picture that you can see that a shop lies in two countries.
Although it is weird enough, but still I can understand that some people felt that they belong to this or that country. I cannot imagine of the facts of taxes, elections, etc. It is not rocket science to make some rules. That's also OK. But what about this then? From google maps

* North Braband is another story. When you have a province called North something, you can expect a south one as well. But no, only in Belgium you can find 2 other Brabands. It is as confusing as another thing: Holland is not the name of country. There are two provinces though called North and South Holland. The parliament is in the Hague, the capital of South Holland. Haarlem is the capital of the North Holland. Then why the fuck is Amsterdam capital of the country?
